sixthreezero Women’s 26-Inch Beach Cruiser Bicycle

sixthreezero women inch beach cruiser bicycle Pedal SPD SLR 540LAW white blocks lighter release
  1. Started in 2005 out of a garage in Hermosa Beach, CA, the founders wanted to build a bike company that would get people excited about two-wheeled movement.
  2. Combining a classic sense of sophisticated style with a variety of comfort features, the Women’s Cruiser from sixthreezero is built for easy upright riding in almost any situation—rain or shine, beach or city.
  3. You’ll enjoy the frame’s upright riding style, with the wide chrome-plated cruiser handlebars offering the ideal positioning to keep your shoulders, arms, and backs relaxed and comfortable.
  4. You’ll enjoy more high intensity riding and go farther distances than ever imagined possible on a cruiser.
  5. Ready to turn at will, let it take you wherever adventure seems to call.
  6. A sleek, modern showpiece, this hybrid cruiser’s step-through aluminum city frame is ideal for urban commuting.
  7. Accented beautifully by the rims within the white wall tires, the bike also comes with a really comfortable and clean-looking saddle and grips.
  8. The reliable and efficient sixthreezero Women’s Cruiser’s optimal crankset configuration makes pedaling around most places a breeze.
  9. The matching front and rear fenders always add a nice touch too, not to mention protecting you from any puddles you may come across.
  10. Only mechanical drawback is that the three speed range is limited – in flat Florida, the hardest gear is usually preferable for covering ground – the hard gear on this bike is more like a moderate/middle grade.
  11. Even for climbing small hills it is not difficult in this highest gear.
  12. I was pleasantly surprised to get a bike that was cosmetically perfect; all protective wrappings intact- but the box was a bit trashed.
  13. The rear fender tab was bent at a 90 degree angle – totally wrong, compared to the depicted instruction.
  14. Looks like a factory mistooling, and needs to be corrected, since it requires careful plier bending to prevent breaking the thin tab metal.
  15. Other construction issue – and very important to safety the seat has a metal collar to a metal post – always going to loosen up without some type of liner washer or rubber collar.
  16. No matter how much you tighten it, it still swivels loose.
  17. Finally (and shame on you, Sixthreezero Enterprises!) there is a paper insert that promises a free bike basket for a five star review on the product, upon notifying the company of your posted review.
  18. The product is pretty good, and Sixthreezero should not stoop to bribing the consumer for a dishonest review.
  19. A four star review drops to 3 stars, since my bike purchase was based on ratings that were clearly bought.
  20. I finally got it 2 weeks ago and my feelings about it are a bit meh.
  21. The instructions are very IKEA-like and provide hardly any instruction.
  22. There was no phone number to the company to call and get additional direction.
  23. I found a way to make it work but if you are really tiny like me, I do not recommend this bike.
  24. I have the 3 gear bike and I found that it is VERY difficult to ride up slopes- not even hilly hills, but even the very slightest incline, such as on my driveway.
  25. Unfortunately, Georgia is quite hilly and has winding roads and there are no neighborhoods here with flat roads.
  26. Even my dad has trouble riding it up some roads with very slight incline.
  27. It’s darn near impossible to ride this bike on the 2nd and 3rd gears for me.
  28. Love the cute factor of this bike but overall, disappointed with it.
  29. Do not recommend if you are really petite or live in a place with very hilly roads.
  30. The only plus side is that when I do take the bike out, I am getting a huge workout!
  31. I don’t feel like I’m gonna break it or topple off of it.
  32. Super easy to put together (and I am AWFUL at assembling anything, yet I was able to do it in about an hour.) The worst part to assemble was the seat for me, only because you got to really tighten those bolts or it’ll fall down with your weight.
  33. The bike looks great, shifts extremely smoothly and is just awesome.
  34. Update: 7/18/17
After riding it a few times I have found one cheap part or thing to complain about.
  35. They are not one piece, in fact they are several pieces that fit together.
  36. Because of this, I find if I step too hard on one part of the pedal, they just pop out of place and aren’t usable.
  37. Really stinks because I sort of need that to get up some hills.
  38. I’m thinking of replacing these for something that is all one piece eventually and just being careful for now.
  39. Update: 7/23/17: The pedal issue has gotten a bit ridiculous.
  40. I’ve sent word to sixthreezero to see if there’s some sort of replacement that’s all one piece that they can provide before I have to buy one.
  41. I’ve attached a picture, they pretty much fall apart each time I ride now.
  42. Took about an hour to assemble – all nuts are metric size.
  43. My only complaint about the assembly instructions is that they use bicycle terms and don’t explain fully what that dohicky is to a layman.
  44. They do supply two allen wrenches and a metric tool, but having a set of metric wrenches would have made it faster and easier on the hands (I need to get some metric tools).
  45. She rides comfortably and I cannot wait for nice weather!
  46. I attached 2 photos – the first is with all packaging material removed ready for assembly; the second ready for the road.
  47. It was fairly easy to put together and I am not that handy.
  48. It is probably of lesser quality than the cheapest big box bicycle.
  49. It is a smooth ride and works great for my dogs basket!
  50. Got the 3 gear and it is so Comfortable and so much easier to petal.
  51. So easy to assemble and incredibly comfortable to ride.
  52. From box to maiden ride took about 15 minutes, at most.

  26. I bought this bike (based on reviews) thinking it would fit me well, I am 6’3″ with a 34″ pant inseam.
  27. I’ve let my fiance ride this bike also and they love it also!
  28. I’d love to give this bike a 5 star however while the bike itself is amazing you can tell that’s what your paying for, the bicycle chain, and a few reflectors i found to be shotty, my chain link broke the first day of riding, however i replaced it with a new chain right after, so not a problem but i’m shedding a star because of that.
  29. Lot of people are skeptic and think most reviews are fake, perhaps they are, but mine isn’t, i love this bike!
  30. My wife does road/trail rides of 25 miles with her eyes closed.
  31. I had a foot forward single speed coaster with a maximum range of about 5 miles with a gel seat and flat terrain.
  32. The lean forward posture killed my rear end and my front end, even with a cushy coaster seat and bike pants.
  33. The hybrid sat in the garage and I putzed around on the coaster.
  34. I did detailed research on multi-speed coasters and landed on the sixthreezero “In The Barrel” 3 speed.
  35. On my fourth ride we did 18 miles on combo road/trail – mostly flat but with some long gradual elevations, a few short, steep climbs and some wind.
  36. The upright posture, elongated frame, foot forward drive train, excellent 3 speed gear box and very supportive seat make this an amazing two wheeled machine.
  37. Just pay very close attention to the instructions/pictures, use the right tools and you will be riding in less than a hour.
  38. The gear box will need adjustment but it is simple and has not needed additional attention.
  39. I only have two small suggestions for improvement – more substantial feeling handle bars and longer grips.
  40. The lower profile bars and shortish grips feel a bit undersized for the very beefy frame.
  41. If you want a versatile, extended range coaster, this is the bike.
  42. I got it on a lightning deal and am happy with what I got.
  43. It’s also comfortable a great way to commute to work for short distances.
  44. I each purchased a beach cruiser and absolutely love it!
  45. It took me less than an hour to put mine and my wifes together.
